Ultimate Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef 1 kg
  • 1 1/2 lbs medium ground beef 750 g
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 15 mL
  • 1 tbsp Louisiana hot sauce 15 mL
  • 1 tbsp Roasted Garlic Seasoning Paste 15 mL
  • 1 tsp salt 5 mL
  • 1/4 tsp pepper 1 mL
  • 12 kaiser rolls, sliced in half
  • Ranch Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing 60 mL
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill 60 mL

Directions

  • Step 1

    Except for kaiser rolls, place all ingredients plus 1/4 cup (60 mL) of water in a large bowl and mix gently until just combined. Without compacting the meat too tightly, form 12 patties.

  • Step 2

    Preheat grill to high. Cook burgers about 6 min. per side or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 160°F (71°C) when inserted into centre of burger. Allow to rest 5 min.

  • Step 3

    Mix ranch dressing with chopped fresh dill. Dress each burger with a drizzle of the ranch sauce. Add sliced fresh avocado, a squeeze of lemon juice and a tuft of alfalfa sprouts, if desired.

Tip
