6 Peaches, blanched, peeled and halved
3 Sugar
3 Water
1 Cinnamon stick
½ Cardamom
¼ Brandy or cognac

Directions
1Combine all ingredients, except alcohol in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil, cook over medium heat until it begins to thicken for approximately 7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour into jars and refrigerate. Use as desired.
