
Campfire Sesame-Soy Kabobs

2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp apple juice or water
2 tsp honey
1 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp sesame oil
1 pinch dried chili flakes
3 New York striploin steaks (approx. 1?1/2 lb/750 g), trimmed and cut into 1-in./2.5 cm cubes
8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for several hours or overnight

3 New York striploin steaks (approx. 1?1/2 lb/750 g), trimmed and cut into 1-in./2.5 cm cubes
8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for several hours or overnight
Directions
1At home, mix together soy sauce, apple juice or water, honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil and chili flakes. Add steak, turn to coat and marinate 10 min. Thread meat onto skewers. Store in freezer bag. Freeze overnight.
2At campfire, place skewers over grill. Cook 4 to 5 min per side, to desired doneness.
