Vegetarian 6 Bean Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 can Compliments Whole Tomatoes 796 mL
  • 1 can Compliments Six Bean Blend, drained and rinsed 540 mL
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder 15 mL
  • 2 tsp ground cumin 10 mL
  • 1/4 tsp pepper 1 mL
  • hot sauce to taste

Directions

  • Step 1

    Place tomatoes, beans, onions, peppers, garlic, chili powder, cumin and pepper in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 hours. Season to taste with hot sauce.

Tip

Top your chili with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and sliced green onions.
