Sesame-Soy Glazed Wild Black Cod

Ingredients

  • 4 Wild Black Cod Fillets, thawed and patted dry
  • 2 limes, 1 zested and juiced, 1 quartered
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil 5 mL
  • 2 tsp sodium-reduced soy sauce 10 mL
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds 5 mL
  • 1/4 tsp salt 1 mL
  • pepper to taste

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place fillets on a foil-lined, rimmed baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine lime juice, sesame oil and soy sauce. Drizzle mixture over fillets. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2

    Roast on lower rack of oven for 12 min. or until centres of fillets are opaque. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp (2 mL) lime zest and serve with lime wedges.

Black cod is a source of beneficial fats called omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are important for brain function and heart health.
