Ingredients
- 1½ oz
- blanco tequila
- 45 mL
- 1 oz
- fresh lime juice
- 30 mL
- ½ oz
- agave syrup
- 15 mL
- ¼ oz
- dill pickle brine, ideally with a few seeds
- 8 mL
- 1
- pickle spear (for garnish)
- 1 tb
- rock salt (for rimming glass)
- 15 mL
Directions
Step 1
Rim a martini glass with rock salt and fill with ice cubes to chill.
Step 2
Shake tequila, lime juice and agave syrup over ice for 60 seconds or until it’s well-chilled and combined.
Step 3
Strain cocktail into a chilled martini glass and add pickle brine to the top of the drink as a float.
Step 4
Garnish with a pickle spear.
Tip
ZERO-PROOF IT: Substitute tonic water for tequila by pouring it into the ice-filled glass and topping with shaken lime and agave syrup (shaking carbonated beverages will make a mess). Then add pickle brine float.
