PB & J Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups milk 625 mL
  • 3 tbsp honey 45 mL
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon 2 mL
  • pinch salt
  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats 500 mL
  • ⅓ cup smooth peanut butter 75 mL
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts 60 mL
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam 30 mL

Directions

  • Step 1

    Whisk milk, honey, cinnamon and salt in large re-sealable container until smooth. Stir in rolled oats and peanut butter. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hr., or up to 2 days.

  • Step 2

    Stir and spoon into 6 bowls. Serve cold topped with chopped peanuts and strawberry jam.

Tip

For camping, oatmeal can be made ahead and stored in refrigerator/cooler for up to 2 days.
