Warm Brie Topped with Dried Fruit, Pecans & Coconut

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp pecan pieces 30 mL
  • 2 tbsp flaked sweetened coconut 30 mL
  • 2 tbsp pitted dates, chopped 30 mL
  • 1 tbsp dried and sweetened cranberries 15 mL
  • 1 pkg double cream Brie cheese 200 g
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup 30 mL

Directions

  • Step 1

    Combine ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Evenly divide mixture between two small jars (about 1/4 cup/60 mL in size).

  • Step 2

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut top rind off Brie and discard. Place Brie in baker, arrange mixture on top and gently drizzle with maple syrup. Bake on middle rack of oven until cheese is softened, about 10 min. Serve immediately.

Tip

Perfect as a host or hostess gift! Have the host prepare the topping as directed in step 2.
