  • Prep Time 5 min
  • Total Time 8 h
  • Chill Time 8 h
  • Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups 35% whipping cream 375 mL
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 300 mL
  • 1 cup roughly chopped mixed fresh berries
    (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and/or blueberries)
    250 mL

Directions

  • Step 1

Using an electric mixer, beat cream on medium speed 3 to 5 min., or until stiff peaks form. Reduce speed to low and beat in sweetened condensed milk. Set aside.

  • Step 2

Purée half the berries in a food processor (or mash in bowl with fork). Add both puréed (or mashed) and remaining chopped berries to cream mixture; beat on low just until combined.

  • Step 3

Scrape mixture into a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap, or seal in a plastic re-sealable container. Freeze about 8 hr., or until firm.

Tip

Use 1 cup (250 mL) frozen berries in place of fresh; thaw slightly before chopping or mashing.
