Ingredients

Bacon & Cheddar Canadian Chuck Burgers (5 oz/150 g each)

hamburger buns
1 cup
arugula
250 mL
½ cup
Rhubarb, Bourbon & Bacon Jam
125 mL

tomato slices
½
red onion, thinly sliced

Directions

Step 1
On barbecue preheated to medium-high, grill burger patties 5 to 6 min. per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Step 2
Split the buns. Place arugula on bottom halves of buns. Top each with a burger patty, 2 tbsp (30 mL) Rhubarb, Bourbon & Bacon Jam, a tomato slice and red onion. Cap with top buns.

Tip

Leftover Rhubarb, Bourbon & Bacon Jam can be added to grilled cheese sandwiches, served on cheese platters or stirred into mac 'n' cheese.
