Peanut Butter & Sriracha Burger

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Sensations by Compliments Spirited Mickie Seriously Sriracha BBQ Sauce 60 mL
  • ¼ cup smooth peanut butter 60 mL
  • 4 Canadian Chuck Burgers (5 oz/150 g each)
  • 4 Compliments Balance Multi Whole Grain In The Thin Buns
  • 1 cup coarsely grated carrot 250 mL
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves 60 mL
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Directions

  • Step 1

    In small bowl, blend sriracha barbecue sauce with peanut butter. Set aside.

  • Step 2

    On barbecue preheated to medium-high, grill burger patties 5 to 6 min. per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  • Step 3

    Split the buns. Place burger patties on bottom halves of buns. Top with reserved sauce, carrot, cilantro and green onion. Cap with top buns.

Tip

Substitute soy butter for nut-free alternative.
