Grilled Steak & Egg Sliders

Ingredients

  • 4 Sterling Silver Grilling Medallions (approx. 5 oz/150 g each)
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper, divided 2 mL
  • 1/3 cup Sensations by Compliments No Limits Barbecue Sauce 75 mL
  • 8 Compliments Large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk 60 mL
  • 1 tbsp butter 15 mL
  • 1/4 cup finely sliced green onions 60 mL
  • 16 Sensations by Compliments Mini Slider Buns

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat barbecue to medium-high. Set a cast iron (or heavy) skillet on one side of barbecue. Season steak with 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper. On other side of barbecue, grill steak for 3 to 5 min. per side while basting with barbecue sauce. Remove steak and let rest.

  • Step 2

    Whisk together eggs and milk with remaining salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Add butter to hot skillet, pour in egg mixture and stir as it cooks. When eggs are almost set, sprinkle with green onions and finish cooking. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Step 3

    Toast buns lightly on barbecue. Thinly slice steak, divide it and eggs among buns and serve.

Tip

The sliders are perfect for using up leftover steak.
