Blueberry & Lemonade Slushy

  • Makes: 4 cups (1 L) slushy

Ingredients

  • For Rim
  • 2 tbsp sugar 30 mL
  • 1 lemon wedge + 2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh lemon zest
  • For Slushy
  • 2 1/2 cups lemonade 625 mL
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries 250 mL
  • 1 cup ice 250 mL
  • 1 tbsp honey 15 mL
  • 4 fresh basil leaves

Directions

  • Step 1

    Combine sugar and lemon zest on a small plate. Moisten the rim of 4 glasses with lemon wedge and dip in sugar mixture to coat. Set aside.

  • Step 2

    Add lemonade, blueberries, ice and honey to blender; process until smooth. Divide evenly between glasses, and garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
