Asian-Style Honey Sriracha Steak Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless blade steaks 500 g
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil 15 mL
  • 1 tbsp honey 15 mL
  • 2 tsp soy sauce 10 mL
  • 1 tsp Sriracha hot sauce 5 mL
  • 2 Sensations by Compliments Asian Supreme Salad Kits (7.8 oz/ 220 g each)
  • 1 red pepper, seeded, thinly sliced

Directions

  • Step 1

    Heat vegetable oil in large skillet on high heat. Brown steak on both sides. For medium rare, cook 5 to 7 min. per side, or until instant-read thermometer reaches 145°F (63°C). For well done, cook 9 min. per side, or 170°F (77°C). Meanwhile, in small dish mix honey, soy sauce and Sriracha sauce. Brush on top of steak in last minute of cooking. Remove steak from skillet. Set aside to rest 5 min.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, in large bowl, toss salad kit ingredients. Divide onto 4 plates. Top with red pepper strips.

  • Step 3

    Slice steak across the grain into 1/4-in. (5-mm) thick strips, place on salads.
