    Soft Ballpark Pretzels Get the Recipe

    Soft Ballpark Pretzels

    • Total Time. 55 min
    • Makes. 12

    Ingredients

    • 1 ball Compliments Pizza Dough 650 g
    • 1/4 cup baking soda 60 mL
    • 1/3 cup grated Cheddar cheese 75 mL
    • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds 30 mL
    • 1 tsp kosher salt 5 mL
    • 3/4 cup Sensations Spirited Mickie Gold Rush Sauce 175 mL

    Directions

    • Step 1

      Preheat oven to 425˚F (220˚C). Line 2 baking sheet(s) with parchment paper. Divide dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each into 1/2-in. (1-cm) thick ropes, about 18-in. (45-cm) long. For each pretzel, shape one length of rope into U shape, with ends facing away from you. Twist the ends of the rope together once, then bring the twisted ends towards yourself and attach to the base of the U. Make 12 pretzels.

    • Step 2

      In a large saucepan, bring 8 cups (2 L) water and baking soda to a boil. In three batches, boil pretzels 1 min. until puffed. Remove pretzels from saucepan with slotted spoon to drain.

    • Step 3

      Arrange boiled pretzels on prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 in. (5 cm) apart. Sprinkle with Cheddar, sunflower seeds and salt.

    • Step 4

      Bake 16 to 18 min. until golden brown. Serve with Spirited Mickie Gold Rush Sauce for dipping.

    Tip

    If dough resists rolling or shrinks, let it rest for a few minutes. This will relax the gluten and make it easier to work with.

    Grand Slam Nachos Get the Recipe

    Grand Slam Nachos

    • Total Time. 25 min
    • Serves. 8

    Ingredients

    • 1 bag blue corn tortilla chips 300 g
    • 2 Schneiders Grill'ems Original Smoked Sausages, thinly sliced
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 250 mL
    • 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese 175 mL
    • 1 tomato, diced
    • 2 green onions, finely chopped
    • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce 30 mL

    Directions

    • Step 1

      Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay half the tortilla chips on a parchment paper-lined large pizza pan or baking sheet. Arrange half the sausage, mozzarella cheese, feta cheese and tomato overtop. Add another layer of chips and remaining toppings.

    • Step 2

      Bake 8 to 10 min. until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with green onion and drizzle with BBQ sauce to serve.

    Tip

    Serve with salsa, guacamole and sour cream.

    Pop-Fly Popcorn Get the Recipe

    Pop-Fly Popcorn

    • Total Time. 10 min
    • Serves. 12

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkg Compliments Butter Flavour Microwave Popping Corn, popped 94 g
    • 1 1/2 cups blue jelly beans 375 mL
    • 1 1/2 cups Compliments Pretzel Sticks 375 mL
    • 1 1/2 cups sunflower seeds 375 mL
    • 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1 mL

    Directions

    • Step 1

      In large bowl, toss together popcorn, jelly beans, pretzel sticks, sunflower seeds and salt. Serve.

    Tip

    Use your favourite blue-coloured candies.

    Toss with melted marshmallows and a little melted butter and shape into popcorn balls.
