Festive and impressive! Fresh and pre-cooked choices from our Seafood department make a raw bar at home a simple set-up. Please note any restrictions on gatherings that apply to your jurisdiction. Here's how:

  1. Snow crab and lobster: no fuss thaw-and-serve legs and claws. Pile them onto chilled platters. Tuck cold lemon wedges into the mix. Offer lobster cracker tools to make short work of shells. Check out this seafood primer to learn how to crack a lobster.

  2. Peeled and cooked shrimp: Thaw and mound in a chilled bowl. Pop just a couple ice cubes on top. The melting ice keeps the shrimp nice and cold.

  3. Raw oysters on the half-shell: Shuck the oysters and arrange on a rimmed tray of ice. If your fridge makes crushed ice, even better. You'll want to pass these around before the ice melts. Oyster shucking newbie? Watch this video for shucking 101.

  4. Dipping sauces: Some warm, some cold. Set out a variety on a tray or lazy Susan, each with their own spoons, including: Garlic Aioli for lobster and crab, Garlic Herb Butter for shrimp, Lemon Herb Mignonette for oysters.
