We love Halloween for a lot of reasons: the costumes, pumpkin carving, and we can’t forget the food! If you’re having a Halloween party this year, or are looking to start a new tradition, we’ve created some spooktacular recipes and ideas that’ll get your family and friends into the spirit of the holiday.

Start off your evening with appetizers that will set the mood and get everyone excited for the spooky night ahead. Try serving our Full Moon Sliders or Deviled Eggs with Chives!

As the main meal, make sure you whip up something that has a “gooey” factor. Cauldron-Cooked Pulled Pork Sand-Witches, Goblin Kebobs, or Vampire’s Delight are some uncanny options. And don’t forget to prepare a concoction of sorts, like Halloween Big Punch or Spiced Hocus Pocus Potion.

For dessert you can let your imagination run wild. These Jack O’ Lantern Cookies use an eerie stained glass effect and they taste good, too. Or make Red Velvet Cupcakes and then take them from cute to creepy with these devilish ideas:

  • Create an eerie eyeball with gel icing
  • Mummify your sweet morsel with strips of white icing
  • Create a gravesite with chocolate wafer crumbs and top with Halloween Gravestone Cookies

Here’s a sneaky idea: when you’re kids get home from trick-or-treating, sneak a peek at their riches. Find some goodies you can chop and slice to make Halloween Boo Bark. Shh, don’t tell the kids what you did – wait to see their surprise when you’ve turned ordinary candy into a piece of art.
