Banana Cake with Brown Butter Frosting Recipe

Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly coat a 13 x 9-inch (3 L) cake pan with cooking spray.
- Stir the cake mix with the water, bananas and eggs until combined; spoon mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Heat the butter, stirring constantly, in a small saucepan set over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes or until butter begins to foam and turn brown. Cool slightly.
- Beat the butter with the sugar, vanilla and milk using a hand mixer on low speed until frosting is smooth, adding more milk if necessary. Spread frosting over cake.
