The Compliments Culinary Centre is a culinary development facility that was created out of a relationship between Sobeys Inc., and George Brown Chef School at George Brown College in Toronto.
Both Sobeys and the George Brown Chef School understand passion for food and the importance of great food ideas. As Canada’s undisputed leader in culinary and hospitality training, the Chef School has a celebrated faculty comprised of industry leading chefs. Great food ideas come from great chefs - and this is no exception with Chef James Smith.
Chef James is an alumnus of George Brown Chef School with an award winning background in the culinary world working in top restaurants as well as in food media and production. Chef James works closely with Sobeys Inc. in product and recipe development for the Compliments line of products, and provides advice and develops recipes for Sobeys' Inspired by Compliments magazine.
“We are inspiring busy families to create good food with the help of incredible products that can be the foundation of great recipes,” says Chef James.
Together, George Brown Chef School and the Compliments Culinary Centre are helping consumers learn about great ingredients and food ideas for everyday living.
