Smoky Hawaiian Pizza with Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 ball fresh pizza dough 650 g
  • ⅓ cup prepared barbecue sauce 75 mL
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 250 mL
  • approx. 6 oz 1 ham steak, diced 175 g
  • ½ red pepper, seeded and diced
  • ⅓ cup fresh or canned finely diced pineapple 75 mL
  • 1 pkg shredded coleslaw mix (454 g)
  • ⅓ cup prepared coleslaw dressing 75 mL

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 450ºF (230ºC). Roll pizza dough on lightly floured surface to fit an 11 x 17-in. (28 x 43-cm) rimmed baking sheet. Transfer rolled dough to sheet and stretch to fit to edges. Spread barbecue sauce over dough. Top with cheese, ham, red pepper and pineapple.

  • Step 2

    Bake 15 min. or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Step 3

    Meanwhile toss coleslaw mix with dressing. Serve pizza slices with coleslaw on the side.
