
Honey Garlic Beef Stir-Fry

1 lb stir-fry beef strips or fast-fry steak cut into strips
½ tsp each salt and pepper
½ cup Honey Garlic Sauce, divided
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 pkg Vegetable Stir Fry
2 green onions, sliced
4 cups cooked basmati rice
1 lb stir-fry beef strips or fast-fry steak cut into strips

1 pkg Vegetable Stir Fry
2 green onions, sliced
4 cups cooked basmati rice
Directions
1Toss beef with salt, pepper and 1/4 cup (60 mL) honey garlic sauce; set aside. Combine the remaining sauce with 1/2 cup (125 mL) water, lime juice and ginger. Whisk in cornstarch. Reserve.
2Heat oil in a wok or deep skillet set over high heat. Add vegetables. Stir-fry for 3 to 5 min. or until tender. Transfer to a clean plate.
3Pour meat mixture into wok and stir-fry for 2 to 3 min. or until slightly brown. Return vegetables to the pan and toss. Make a well in the centre of the skillet and pour in sauce mixture; bring to a boil. Mix meat and vegetables until well-coated in sauce. Stir in green onions and serve over hot rice.

Picking up a bag of prepared veggies is a real time-saver. You'll skip all the washing and chopping while still using fresh vegetables.
